These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of https://kovailakshmi.in/ (the "Website") and to the sale of machines by Kovai Lakshmi Grinders, Bharathiyar Rd, P N Palayam, Coimbatore - 641037, Tamil Nadu ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If a written quotation, invoice or agreement signed by us says something different, that document applies for that order.
1. Use of the website
You may use the Website to learn about our products and contact us. You agree not to misuse it, for example by sending false or harmful content through the forms, trying to break its security, or copying its content for commercial use.
2. Product information and images
- We try to keep all product details accurate, but they are for general information only.
- Photos and videos are for illustration. The actual product may vary slightly in colour, finish or design.
- Specifications such as capacity, motor power, size and output are approximate and may change without notice as we improve our machines. Please confirm the exact specifications in your quotation before ordering.
3. Pricing and quotations
Prices are not shown on the Website. A price is confirmed only through an official quotation from Kovai Lakshmi Grinders. Quotations are valid for the period stated on them. Taxes (GST), transport, packing and installation charges are as stated in the quotation.
4. Orders and payment
- An order is confirmed when we accept it in writing and receive the advance payment stated in the quotation.
- The balance must be paid before dispatch unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Payment can be made by bank transfer, UPI or other methods we accept. Machines remain our property until full payment is received.
5. Delivery and installation
- Delivery times are estimates and depend on the machine, any customisation and transport conditions. We will keep you informed of any delay.
- Risk in the goods passes to you when they are handed to you or your transporter.
- Please check the machine on delivery and tell us about any transit damage within 48 hours, with photos.
- Where installation is included, you must provide the correct power supply, wiring, earthing, water and drainage points, and a level, safe site.
6. Warranty
Machines carry the warranty stated on the invoice and warranty card (generally 1–2 years, depending on the machine). The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover:
- Misuse, overloading, accidents, or use that does not follow our instructions.
- Damage from wrong voltage, power fluctuations or improper wiring or earthing.
- Repairs or changes made by anyone other than Kovai Lakshmi Grinders or our authorised technicians.
- Normal wear parts such as belts, blades, grinding stones, gaskets, brushes and rubber parts.
- Damage from fire, water, flood or other events outside our control.
Keep your invoice and warranty card; they are needed for warranty service.
7. After-sales service
We provide service and genuine spare parts during and after the warranty period. Service outside the warranty, and travel to sites outside Coimbatore, may be charged. Contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email to book service.
8. Returns and cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled in writing before the machine is dispatched or manufacturing has started. The advance may be refunded after deducting costs already incurred.
- Machines cannot be returned once delivered, except for a manufacturing defect reported within the warranty period, which we will repair or replace at our choice.
- Customised machines cannot be cancelled once manufacturing has started.
9. Customised machines
Machines built to your design, size or capacity are made to the specifications you approve in writing. Please check those details carefully, because we will not be responsible for problems caused by specifications you supplied or approved.
10. Safe operation
You are responsible for operating the machines safely: following the instructions and cautions supplied, training your staff, using correct power supply and earthing, keeping hands and tools away from moving parts, switching off and disconnecting power before cleaning or maintenance, and keeping machines away from children.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of business, profit, production or food stock. Our total liability for any claim about a machine is limited to the price you paid for that machine. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
12. Intellectual property
The Website's content, including text, product photos, videos, the Kovai Lakshmi name and logo, belongs to Kovai Lakshmi Grinders or is used with permission. You may not copy, reuse or modify it without our written permission.
13. Third-party links
The Website links to other services such as YouTube, WhatsApp, Google Maps and our social media pages. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms apply.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
15. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with its effective date, applies from that date.
